Best Part of the Day
Bedtime! To be more exact, right BEFORE bedtime. It is such a great part of my day. Not because Kate's going to sleep though. It's such a great time because usually she's so relaxed, usually still in a good mood, and we get to snuggle just a little. :) And of course, there's story time. 10 points for anyone who can name this book! I think the 4th picture really gives it away.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle is an all time favorite! Reading together is one of the greatest joys and gifts you can give to Kate!

ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer! This is actually a new book for Kate, but one that I LOVED when I was little. Hoping that she'll like it too! She loves to eat, so it looks promising since it's a book filled with food! Ha! It's nice to "meet" you!
DeleteWell I am jealous :) Haha I love these pictures and I can only imagine why its the best part of your day! Karson will not snuggle or sit still long enough to read. He grabs the book out of my hand and tries to flip the pages himself then get down to crawl and pull down more books off the shelf :) Oh how sweet Kate is! I am so glad y'all were blessed with some a wonderful daughter!!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I am enjoying it while I can, because I'm sure at some point she'll be like Karson and be too wiggly and impatient for all of the snuggling. :) LOVE your new posts & pictures of Karson. He is getting so big and has a big birthday coming up. :)

DeleteI completely agree! That is a bittersweet time of day for me since I won't see my little man again until the following afternoon. But it is more sweet than bitter! :)
