What I'm Loving Wednesday

I've seen this done numerous times and thought I'd take part.  Plus, it's an easy blog post and I think it's important to point out what you're enjoying.  A lot of times we get so busy with LIFE that we fail to notice the ways God has blessed us and the ways He is using us.  So, with that said, here's what I'm loving this Wednesday.

First of all, I'm LOVING this book by Sara Horn.  I saw it on Pinterest and thought I'd check it out.  I LOVE it.  She's so funny and relate-able (is that even a word?).  I also love that I'm actually taking my time to read it.  If you know me, you know that I will read a book in 1-2 days.  I enjoy reading so much that I just can't wait to find out what happens.  With this book, I've made myself take the time to read through it slowly.... or maybe it's just because I have a 6 month old.  Regardless, I'm only halfway through it but would definitely recommend it.  Sara is so real and shares her story about finding out how to be a modern day Proverbs 31 wife.  So good.

Hmm. I'm also loving THESE books that I picked up for Kate for Easter.  Can you tell I love reading?  I am hoping that Kate will enjoy it as much as me.  It won't be for lack of trying.

Oh, and see that "My First ABC Book"?  Well, I really, really, really want to try to make my own ABC book for Kate that includes pictures of her.  And where in the world would I get that idea?  Pinterest, of course. :)   I saw this pin about how to make your own family member board book (which is a great idea) but then thought it would be fun to make an ABC book for Kate.

Personalized board book... Pintsizepro.com perfect for babies who love books

So then I googled "ABC Books" to see what kinds of A, B, C, etc words to include and found this website to be really helpful.  I'll probably make the book through shutterfly or snapfish.   I'm excited to do this even though it will definitely be after April 17th before I get a chance to start on it.

Another thing I'm loving is this little stuffed animal that Kevin picked out for Kate's Easter basket. I say Kevin picked it out, but I gave him a few options.  It was between this one, a bunny, or a duck.

Any guesses why he specifically picked this one out?  Let me give you a little hint...

When he saw that this little dog was a Labrador, that made his decision easy.  If we're being honest,  he didn't care at all which one I got but at least now I can tell Kate that her Daddy picked it out for her.

And what (or who) am I loving the most on this Wednesday?

Can you really believe that I made it all the way to the very end of a post before putting up a picture of Kate?  I do love my husband and little girl- on this Wednesday and every day!  God is good.

Kevin is such a good Daddy and you can already see just how much Kate loves him.  He makes her smile and laugh.  While I'm working through my busy season, he has really had to pick up some extra Daddy-duty time.  While I miss the extra time with her, I know she's loving spending it with her Daddy.

On a side note, this was Day 3 of the peas and I don't think they're Kate's favorite.  She'll eat them, and cleans her little bowl, but she just doesn't have the same enthusiasm for them as she did with the squash, bananas, or sweet potatoes.  I don't really blame her.  I don't like those kind of peas either.

And that is what I'm loving this Wednesday!
