The day after Thanksgiving, all of the guys headed out for a round of golf. The girls (and kids) decided to go to the Christmas tree farm (I'll share details of that later) and then have lunch at the park. So that's what we did. I think it is safe to say that our kid LOVES the park, and being outside in general.
Later that night, my parents hosted an oyster roast. This is typically our Christmas Eve tradition (and has been for as long as I can even remember), but since we're doing Christmas a little differently this year, they decided to have the oyster roast on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Most of my high school friends that normally drop by already had plans, but a lot of Kristi's high school friends were able to come over. One of them brought this little cutie...
Isn't Miss Sydney beautiful? Can't wait for our next little one! :) We all stayed out by the fire, since it was pretty chilly. Of course, a bonfire isn't complete without S'MORES!
Kate was pretty happy about the s'mores, but also that her favorite person ever was there- Davis!
She was also pretty excited that her cousin Christopher was there. He is about 4-5 years older than Kate and was just so great with her. She had a ball playing with him over the long weekend. We'll forgive him for being a Gamecock fan.
And this was most certainly the best spot to end the day...
